In order to have a workforce that is internationally competitive, we must fight for education opportunities for ALL Americans. We have no chance of driving progress forward in the United States without educating the people of this country. To Sarah, it just makes sense. She is fighting to invest in our students, which is an investment in the future of our country and economy. [Will you support Sarah in her fight for free two-year education and trade schools?]( The GOP enjoys blindly labeling free education a “handout”. We know that they like to claim that anything that helps the little guy is a handout while using tax money for corporate welfare is regarded as necessary. The truth they don’t want you to know is that the cost of subsidizing a two-year education is low and actually pays for itself very quickly with the increased tax revenue and spending power from those who have received their technical degree. Those additional earnings that one makes after completing their technical degree, versus just a high school diploma, allow many to no longer need government assistance. This equates to the government saving BIG in the long run. Not only does a technical degree save the government money and bring in more tax dollars, but it also reduces unemployment which has been shown to reduce crime rates. The GOP lacks the understanding to meaningfully improve communities and deliver concrete and safe solutions. It is time for leaders who use data, not political theater to govern. It just makes sense. And Sarah is all about policies that make sense for Americans.
