Special Saturday Trading Session: NSE, BSE to conduct special trading activity on May 18 Stock exchanges BSE and NSE on Tuesday announced special trading activity in the equity and equity derivative segments to check their preparedness to handle major disruption or failure at the primary site. Both bourses held similar special trading sessions on Saturday, March 2. The trading sessions on Saturday will involve an intraday switchover from the primary site (PR) to the disaster recovery (DR) site, according to the exchange.According to the bourses, trading will be carried out in two sessions on May 18. Normally, trading begins on weekdays at 9:15 am and ends at 3:30 pm. Trading will take place in two parts. The first session will begin at 9:15 am and conclude at 10 am, which will be followed by another session which will commence at 11:30 am and conclude at 12:30 pm.
