Here is what has been going on lately: [Sanford Bishop for Congress]( [Sanford Bishop for Congress]( Dear {NAME}, It’s important to me to keep my supporters in the loop, so I wanted to share some updates regarding my work in Congress and my campaign. Here is what has been going on lately: - I’ve been working hard to support the FY23 funding bill in the House Appropriations Committee before it gets sent to the full House for consideration. The bill will make critical investments in Middle and Southwest Georgia as it provides funding for affordable housing, public safety, transportation, rural broadband, and community projects to support working families, youth, veterans, and service members. - The NRCC recently launched an attack ad against me. They said I was on their target list of seats to flip, and now they’re trying to do just that. We know this is just the beginning of their onslaught of attacks, so my team is doing everything we can to prepare and fight back against their ads. - My campaign announced that we had our single-largest fundraising quarter ever in the history of GA-02. This record-breaking support means that my team will be able to reach new voters, run ads, and organize at unprecedented levels. I am grateful to all of my supporters who are standing by me and helping to defend my seat and the U.S. House. {NAME}, these are the kinds of fundraising records we’re going to have to break if we’re going to stop Republicans' plot to take back the House. [Please consider joining my community of donors so that we can hold the U.S. House and I can keep delivering for Middle and Southwest Georgia.]( If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
