We had been there five years ago and we were frankly worried by the negative reviews we saw on tripadvisor. We had an absolutely awesome time. If you cannot be happy in Antigua you cannot be happy any where. We were traveling with another couple and we were all very worried about the covid situation. We felt that Sandals went above and beyond to keep people safe. We had the most amazing butler team, Wendel/Vakesha/Neil. They were doing things before we even knew we needed it. We felt like Sandals and our Butlers kept us all very safe and beyond happy. The grounds are beautiful and so are the people. We never meet anyone that wasn’t absolutely wonderful. We stayed in one of their best suites with a pool and hot tub on the newer side of the resort. We were very happy with our room selection. Thank you to our Butlers and to all the staff. While we were there, we planned our next trip back to Sandals Antigua. Beautiful resort with an amazing beach. We stayed in a Mediterranean ocean view room on the 5th floor; the sunsets were gorgeous. The main pool is great to relax in or have fun during the entertainment. We really liked all the restaurants with Soy, Elenor’s and Barefoot By the Sea being our favorites.
