It was not a joke or whatever rhetoric is employed to dismiss its very real message. Salon's Chauncey DeVega writes: Gosar's terror video is one more example of how today's Republican Party is attempting to replace normal politics, in which disputes are resolved through deliberation and compromise, with a directly confrontational form of politics where threats are normal and violence is always an option — and at times may be the preferred means of obtaining and keeping power. The tidying guru's new series "Sparking Joy" turns its eyes from inside the home to outside – in the community, workplace and more. As satisfying and even edifying as such a series is to watch, for some it can be detrimental. Nicole Cain writes about her keen attraction to the show.
