We pray for old age but hate it when it comes - Peju Akande
I saw her from afar and immediately recognized her; âThatâs Mrs. Jolaosho,â (not her real name) I told my mother.
We were at the Eye Foundation at GRA, Ikeja, for my mumâs routine checkup.
'Who is she?' Mother wanted to know.
'You donât recognize her? That was our headmistress at our Lady of Lourdes Primary school, Surulere.'
My mother peered from behind her dark shades and shook her head.

Are dark chocolates healthy?
Yes, dark chocolate has compounds that offer health benefits and can be enjoyed without guilt, even on a daily basis. But the portion size matters, since too many bites can contribute extra fat, sugar, and calories and negate its health benefits.
Dark chocolate is rich in cocoa solids, which contain compounds known as flavanols. At high levels, cocoa flavanols have been shown to help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, improve cognition and possibly lower the risk of diabetes. Dark chocolate has the highest amount of cocoa flavanols; milk chocolate has less, and white chocolate has none. [Read more](

Firefox to mute autoplay in next update
Nobody hates autoplaying video and audio on the web as much as me, and thatâs no exaggeration. Itâs just so distracting when you surf to a website and suddenly some video starts playing at full volume.
