Dogara officially dumps APC... returns to PDP
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He has joined the league of defectors to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The speaker made the announcement on Tuesday during plenary.
Dogara made this declaration alongside two other lawmakers, Edward Pwajok and Ahmed Yerima. [Read more](

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has declared that a referendum towards the âpeaceful restorationâ of the defunct Republic of Biafra will hold on February 16. That is the same day that the presidential elections will hold.
