Onnoghen: NBA, NEC meeting ends with resolve to boycott courts
The Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) earlier today resolved to embark on a two-day boycott of courts due to the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
The NBA arrived at the resolution at its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held on Monday.

Lagos lawmakers move to impeach Ambode
The Lagos State House of Assembly has issued an ultimatum to the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to defend himself against allegations of illegal expenditure regarding the 2019 appropriation bill or risk facing an impeachment.

The Senate has backtracked from its earlier decision to suspend its break in a bid to discuss the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
On Thursday last week, the red chamber adjourned plenary for the purpose of the election but had to resume for a special session due to the furore generated in the polity by the Onnoghen saga.
