PDP labels Buhari a 'fascist', calls for uprising
As the February 2019 elections draws closer, the war of words is getting hotter as the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday likened President Muhammadu Buhari to the late Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler.
The main opposition party in a press statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan labelled the President a fascist, comparing him to some of the most ruthless dictators in history, such as Idi Amin and Benito Mussolini. [Read more](

The leader of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan has declared that the National Assembly will expedite the passage of the national minimum wage upon resumption from their recess.
Lawan who made this known on Tuesday, January 15, while briefing newsmen, explained that the federal budget and the national minimum wage bills will be treated as top priorities when the House resumes on Wednesday, January 16.
