I worked myself as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace to help pay my way through college, and I was a proud card-carrying member of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 in Las Vegas. That's who I am and where I come from – and that’s why I've always fought for issues like strengthening workers’ rights to unionize, securing paid family leave, raising the minimum wage, and lowering everyday costs for families.
