Gretchen Whitmer]( Hi team, it’s Gretchen Whitmer. The Senate majority is up for grabs in 2024, and it’s more important than ever before that we hold onto it to protect our fundamental rights and defend working people nationwide. One of the most critical Senate elections is happening in Nevada where Senator Jacky Rosen is facing reelection against a well-funded extreme candidate. We need to defend this seat and reelect Jacky — [but before I go on, will you consider donating to Jacky’s campaign to help hold Nevada’s Senate seat?]( [Donate Now]( A Republican-controlled Senate would be a disaster for our country. Last time Republicans were in control, they passed a massive tax cut that overwhelmingly benefited the wealthy and appointed three far-right justices to the Supreme Court who helped overturn Roe v. Wade. But they could do even more damage if they capture it again. Republicans are already finalizing their plans to drag our country further to the right with their extreme agenda of a national abortion ban, massive cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and more tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of the middle class. And they know that one of the only states standing between them and their ability to enact their radical agenda is Nevada — which is why GOP megadonors are pouring an enormous amount of money into the state to defeat Jacky and turn Nevada red. We can’t let that happen. Jacky’s campaign is facing a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. After Sunday, they’ll send a report to the Federal Election Commission that includes how much money she’s raised this year and how many people have donated to her campaign. This report will be public, meaning that anyone from political pundits to Jacky’s opponents themselves will be able to look at her report. And if Jacky’s opponents sense any weakness on the part of her campaign, they’ll flood the airwaves with even more money to try to defeat her. Your donations will go a long way toward showing her extremist opponents that she’s in this race to win it, and they’ll help her counter Republican attacks on her record and spread her message across Nevada. Jacky and a Democratic Senate majority would work overtime to protect our fundamental rights, strengthen our middle class, and create a better future for our families. [Can you help Jacky defend her seat in Nevada and put us on track to hold the Senate majority so Democrats like Jacky can continue delivering for the American people?]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $50]( [Donate $25]( [Donate $5]( [Donate another amount]( Michigan and Nevada are two of the most competitive battleground states in the country. We’re counting on your support to help us keep both states blue. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read this message, Gretchen Whitmer --------------------------------------------------------------- This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
