Today, the ultra-conservative Supreme Court will begin hearing a case to decide whether or not mifepristone – an abortion pill that has been used by women safely for decades – will remain accessible on the market. This case comes in the middle of an all-out right-wing assault on reproductive freedom. In states across the country, GOP lawmakers have been enacting abortion bans and extreme restrictions – putting women's health care and their very lives in jeopardy. We cannot sit idly by while anti-choice extremists dictate what women do with their own bodies. That's why I've been doing everything in my power to urge the Supreme Court to take action to protect access to mifepristone. This much I can promise you: I will never stop fighting to protect a woman's right to choose what's best for her own body – but I need you by my side.
