I'm sweating, friend. And it's not just because of the Texas heat. It's because August has been real

[Rolling Sea Action Fund]( I'm sweating, friend. And it's not just because of the Texas heat. It's because August has been really slow for fundraising. I know, we just reported our record-breaking fundraising numbers and everyone from CNN to FiveThirtyEight says we can win this race. But our incredible start to this race makes me one of the Republican's top targets in 2024. [Team, we can't afford to fall short on this (or any) fundraising goal if we're going to power this campaign to victory and bring real change to Texas. So please, split a donation of $20 or whatever you can spare between my campaign and Rolling Sea Action Fund to help me defeat Ted Cruz. →]( [DONATE $20 →]( Unlike Cruz, I'm not counting on wealthy donors to buy this seat for me because I believe our leaders should be accountable to the people they serve, not special interests. And listen, Texas is huge – it takes over 11 hours to drive from the Panhandle to the southernmost point. That means we need way more volunteers, pamphlets, folks knocking doors, and yard signs to win in Texas than it does in other states. And that adds up fast. So I'm counting on folks like you to step up with $5, $10, or whatever you can spare, to power our massive grassroots campaign and help create the change we know Texans want and need. [Right now, I'm counting on you to help me raise $50,000 by midnight to get back on track. So please, will you split a donation between my campaign and Rolling Sea Action Fund and help me fire Ted Cruz? →]( [CHIP IN $20 →]( [CHIP IN $50 →]( [CHIP IN $100 →]( Thank you so much – and in all seriousness, I hope you are keeping cool amid record-breaking temperatures this summer! Colin Allred [Rolling Sea Action Fund]( Republicans kicked off this year by introducing over 370 voter suppression bills in 47 states across the country. This is what we’re up against. That's why our team is training volunteers to get involved at the local level, providing engaging educational content to young voters on social media, and so much more. We can only sustain our resources into 2024 and beyond with the support of this grassroots team, so we’re asking you to chip in to fuel our movement. If we have the resources we need, we can compete with this extremist, anti-democratic movement and make sure the freedom to vote is protected across the country. Pitch in $20 or whatever makes sense for you right now to protect the freedom to vote in 2024. Every contribution brings us a step closer to ensuring all eligible voters have equal access to the ballot box in elections to come. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
