Don't miss today's column on DC's stupidity may doom us all ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Don't miss today's column on DC's stupidity may doom us all ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ There's definitely a feeling of a calm before the storm... Consider these five things that are pending right now: 1. Investors have a huge amount of cash and are waiting to move into something... but there's so much volatility and uncertainty that they don't know what it is - stocks, bonds, precious metals, crypto, or foreign markets. 2. China has dropped zero-COVID policies and is recovering, but it's still unclear whether we are just seeing a dead cat bounce as the economy staggers forward from a near total lockdown. The fundamental health of the Chinese economy remains questionable. 3. While tech companies have been recovering in recent days, we're still seeing thousands of layoffs... except for Apple (more on this below). 4. Russia is reportedly preparing a major offensive even as the West provides the most heavy weaponry to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, leading to a possible surge in oil prices. 5. Finally, there's been a sudden reversal in investor sentiment about what the Fed is going to do, as shown by a decline in European stocks early this morning. What's the solution? Turn uncertainty into a friend. Turn instability into income. Turn volatility into victory. The way to do it is to have a powerful trading system at your disposal - a war room. Your laptop should be thought of as a guided missile system. And you don't need to worry about wondering what to aim for. The results speak for themselves. While the market declined in December, Chris Hood and the [TRADE COMMAND]( ) team went on a historic winning streak. They beat the market by 14,333%. EIGHT triple-digit winners. All in the midst of some of the most difficult market conditions in memory. All with a win rate of nearly 90%... that's right, ALMOST NINETY PERCENT. With FIVE triple-digit wins already in for this month, this system is proving its effectiveness... We've got a lot more coming on TRADE COMMAND coming up, including some of the hard numbers that prove its effectiveness. Stay tuned. We're just getting started. Keep Moving, TRADE OF THE DECADE THE MOST CRITICAL STOCK TO OWN NOW Mr. X identifies "the most important company that you’ve never heard of…" and how you can take advantage of it to reap potentially life-changing profits. [CLICK THE LINK HERE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE]( ) WORD ON THE STREET PLTR Leans In ,The Apple Exception, What Are They Waiting For? - Everyone Who Doesn't Work For Apple Is Fired - Microsoft? Laying off 10,000 workers, about 5% of the workforce. Amazon? Cutting about 18,000 jobs. But Apple is avoiding layoffs. The reason may not be because it is doing so much better, but because it kept expectations low. Unlike many of its tech rivals, Apple largely controlled hiring during the pandemic tech boom. - Love It Or Leave It - When you name your company after the terrifying occult technology used by the archvillains in Lord of the Rings, you might as well own it. Palantir CEO Alex Karp freely admitted that his company is not "everyone's cup of tea" and he had a blunt message for tech workers who don't like PLTR's policy of accepting American military contracts. "You may not agree with that and, bless you, don't work here," he said. Then again, Amazon's terrible show Rings of Power basically turned Sauron into a good guy so maybe it's fine. (Yes, I know this is Saruman.) - Ukraine Says "No Accidents At War Time" - In other words, it might be an accident, but it wasn't really an accident. A devastating helicopter crash that killed Ukraine's Interior Minister and several colleagues has yet to be explained. However, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it is important that the world keep the blame where he thinks it belongs - Russia. "This is not an accident because it has been due to war and the war has many dimensions, not just on the battlefields," he said. "There are no accidents at war time." - It's Quiet... Too Quiet - Total net assets in money market funds are at a reported $4.814 trillion in the first week in January. That's a record that beats the beginning of the pandemic, according to figures from the Investment Company Institute. Counting funds from both retail and institutional investors, it suggest that traders are holding back reserves before committing to a specific investment choice as volatility rages and entire sectors like crypto are pummeled by exchange collapses and lawsuits. HOT SPOTS: What's Going on in Geopolitics - War Of The Allies - As the war in Ukraine shows every sign of heating up, relations between the United States and Europe may be breaking down. The problem is trade. The European Union is struggling to come to terms with a united response to American subsidies for industrial production. While the point of the EU is to be able to compete with the United States, there are still divisions within the bloc. France and Germany may be able to boost their own domestic industries, but other nations could struggle to keep up. - European Central Bank Just Getting Started – Worried that the Fed isn't going to stop with interest rate hikes? Don't forget about the European Central Bank's ability to screw everything up. "It will not stop after a single 50 basis point hike, that's for sure," said Klaas Knot, the governor of the Dutch central bank. Though inflation is down, it's still at 9.2%. The target for Europe is the same as America's - 2%. - Someone's About To "Accidentally" Fall Out A Window - A major screw up from a Russian embassy worker in Sweden - someone posted a map that showed Crimea as part of Ukraine. Now, most of the world says Crimea is part of Ukraine, but Russia has claimed it since 2014. The irony is that the map was supposed to mock Europe for high gas prices. Somehow, I don't Moscow is having the last laugh here. JPMorgan declares this new oil boom is a SUPER bull for oil and says "an energy revolution is underway." Which is why Chief Investment Strategist, Adam O’Dell, has just released the details on his No. 1 oil stock of 2023. [Click here for more details.]( ) CUTTING EDGE: What[']( )s Happening In Tech - Amazon Frown - Amazon Smile, a program that allowed users to support non-profits as part of their purchases, is ending. As the company seeks to cut costs, Amazon said that the "program has not grown to create the impact that we had originally hoped" and will end by February 20. Oh, sure, but they had a billion dollars to blow on that terrible Rings of Power show. (I'm just going to keep ripping on this.) - Mailchimp Hacked Yet Again – Good news everyone! If you are using one of the most common email delivery systems, all your data might have been hacked. Mailchimp has been compromised for the second time in about six months - with an attack similar to last time, showing that the company is failing to plug the security gaps. (Don't worry, we aren't using MailChimp.). - It's Either World War III Or Nothing - Stop me if you've heard this one before - "experts" say Russia is about to do something. Ukraine is reportedly warning that Russia is preparing a new winter offensive with 700,000 soldiers, as Russia prepares to beef up the size of its conventional army. However, take this with some skepticism - Western experts have also warned that Russia would run out of missiles, that Vladimir Putin was dying of cancer, and that there was going to be a coup. Russia's about to nuke the world? That's what they said last week. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION "I had a theory about politics I developed a long time ago. I may make some enemies with this one, but if you don’t have some people mad at you, you’re not saying anything interesting."Republicans who wanted concessions from Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy got them. What were they exactly? President Joe Biden wants to know, but something tells me McCarthy isn't going to tell him. What we do know is that the GOP hardliners have power over raising the debt limit - something that is both absolutely vital for America's economy not to collapse, and also something insanely foolish that needs to be stopped at some point. Mr. X brings you this week's political absurdity - and why it really, really matters to your portfolio. [THE DUMBEST, MOST IMPORTANT FIGHT OF OUR TIME]( ) Enjoying Dawn Report?
