Impressive really. - AMZN Down For 5 Days Straight - Amazon (AMZN) is at its lowest price since April 2020, losing more than 5.5% yesterday. Market cap is below one trillion dollars. All those gains the company made during the pandemic? Poof, gone. - United Airlines Nearing Strike - By the rather decisive margin of 94% against, pilots in the union at United Airlines voted against a new contract. The company said it was expecting this result (strange negotiating strategy, but ok) and is already working on a new pitch. A tight labor market for pilots is leading the captains of the sky to demand higher wages and benefits. Kinda - President Jair Bolsonaro made a brief speech yesterday saying that despite always being labeled "anti-democratic," he will follow the constitution. His chief-of-staff reportedly confirmed that he has begun the transition of power to Lula da Silva. However, Bolsonaro did not formally concede the election. His supporters continue to rally in some areas of the country, contesting the results. CUTTING EDGE: What[']( Happening In Tech - Lockheed Martin Bets Big On Space - Lockheed Martin is investing another $100 million in satellite manufacturer Terran Orbital. It also formed a cooperation agreement with the company that will be in effect through 2035. In a surprise move, Terran is building its new headquarters, estimated to cost about $300 million, in California, rather than Florida as originally planned.  - Suspended From Instagram? Might Just Be A Bug – The META-owned social media platform is reportedly suffering from a bug that tells users they have been locked out of their account for 30 days. "We're looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience," said a statement from Instagram Communications. Alternatively, they may have just banned you and aren't telling you why.
