Meme stock shows no sign of stopping ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Meme stock shows no sign of stopping ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Another big report coming up today, but we got something of a sneak preview yesterday... Walmart (WMT) beat earnings expectations, and that's a stunning turnaround. Remember, it was just a few months ago that we were getting nightmare reports about overflowing inventory and inflation taking a sledgehammer to profits. But with WMT defying the odds, many experts are optimistic when it comes to the data we'll be getting today. President Joe Biden also scored a major victory yesterday by signing his climate change bill... and he even got West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin to stand by his side. (Of course, former president Donald Trump also had a good day yesterday... though the same can't be said of the old-school Republican bosses.) There are three main dangers going into today. First, it's possible that China may be entering a recession - something which won't only be a drag on American companies but could drive the government into more confrontations in the Pacific. Second, the war in Ukraine rages on, and that's putting major strain on European energy supplies. In the global economy, it increasingly looks like America's the last man standing. Finally, it's always dangerous when the market has its hopes up just before a major report. Let's hope retail data meets expectations. Either way, we'll be ready to take decisive action in this market like no other. Everything is possible. (And if you don't believe me, check out what's still happening with Bed Bath & Beyond [BBBY] - up another 29% yesterday). Keep Moving, Any strategy that makes you money consistently is worthwhile. Though many new traders believe that trading is primarily about indicators and tools, Chris maintains that it is at least 95% about emotional control. This is especially relevant in this bearish, choppy market which has made the trading world extremely difficult. Learn some pro tips to come back from your losses and stay in the game. Today, the Census Bureau will report retail sales data for July, with experts predicting a moderate rise in spending. - Liz Cheney Gets Blown Out In Primary – Is this the end of a political dynasty? The Cheney name used to count for a lot in Republican politics, but ever since Wyoming's sole member of the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump, she's been a hated figure among many Republicans. They got their chance to have their say last night, burying Rep. Cheney in a 30 point defeat. Harriet Hageman, a Trump ally, will now take the Republican nomination into November's midterm elections. A Cheney Becoming Persona Non Grata In The GOP Shows Donald Trump Is Still To Be Reckoned With - Somewhere, "Frank The Tank" Is Smiling – You remember the quote from the movie "Old School," where Will Ferrell's character says he might go to Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) with his wife - before he decides to get drunk with frat boys instead. Well, it's definitely a party for this stock, as meme traders gave it another 29% boost. Ryan Cohen's VC Ventures was revealed to have bought 1.67 million call options on the stock. It's a win for the little guy - but it's good when you have at least one of the hedgies on your side as well. - Biden Signs Climate Bill - A united Democratic Party celebrated the "Inflation Reduction Act," as President Joe Biden signed it into law with both Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and maverick Senator Joe Manchin by his side. The Democrats are now heavily favored to hold on to the Senate and the Republican "red wave" suddenly looks more like a trickle. Still, investors may be concerned - the legislation imposes a 15% minimum corporate tax rate and increases funding for the IRS. "3-Pillar" strategy spots a 108% surge in just 4 days... RapidFire is on fire — with new trades are on the verge of exploding soon! [Click here to learn more](. HOT SPOTS: What's Going on in Geopolitics - Populist Could Be Italy's First Female PM – The Right is rising in Italy, as the nationalist Brothers of Italy party is leading in polls and could be the vanguard of a new government. Despite the, well, patriarchal name, the party is actually led by a woman, the charismatic Giorgia Meloni. Meloni has brushed off accusations of neo-fascism, instead sticking to a traditionally conservative message. If the party wins, she'll be the first female Prime Minister in Italian history. - Xi Heads To Saudi Arabia – Not long after President Biden went to Saudi Arabia to push for more oil production, China's Xi Jinping is now on his way to Riyadh. It will be the Chinese leader's first overseas trip since Covid-19 hit in January 2020 and is expected to be a symbolic challenge to American influence in the region.   - Russia Takes A Hit In Crimea - Crimea has been occupied by Russia since 2014 and has been regarded as firmly under control by Moscow. However, a massive explosion has caused 3,000 residents to flee their homes. The local administration declared a state of emergency, with Moscow blaming "sabotage" for the disaster. Ukraine has vowed to take back all of its territory, including Crimea.  CUTTING EDGE: What[']( Happening In Tech - Boosters, Boosters, Boosters - The United Kingdom has approved new COVID-19 booster shots that are designed to provide better protection against the omicron variant. The British may be receiving their shots as early as this fall. The shots are from Moderna (MRNA) and contain a mix of the original vaccine and a new formulation designed to combat the variant. It didn't help MRNA stock, which was down almost 5% yesterday. - Chinese Tech Companies Bow To The State – The Cyberspace Administration of China, one of the "Communist" country's most powerful regulators, is getting its hands on the secret algorithms of major Chinese tech companies from Alibaba to Tencent. The companies are obeying a law passed in March that requires the government to get access to the technical details. The Chinese state has used COVID-19 to establish control over the once burgeoning tech sector, firmly reminding corporate leaders that it's the Party, not the plutocrats, who run the show.  - Amazon In Albany Faces Union Threat - Workers at an Amazon warehouse near Albany, New York are the latest group that are asking to be represented by the Amazon Labor Union. The National Labor Relations Board has confirmed the receipt of the petition, and given the Biden Administration's pro-labor leanings, it is likely to get a friendly reception. A group of Amazon workers has already successfully organized a union at a warehouse in Staten Island earlier this year. "Which Side Are You On?"
