Plus, My Top Sectors, Stocks and Key Levels October’s over and the market was down quite a bit before a sharp rebound just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday. [We have a lot of data on deck]( which will be a minefield for day trading. There are a bunch of big companies reporting earnings today before Apple’s big report on Thursday. Then we’ll have one more big week of mid-cap stocks before things slow down a bit for earnings. We also have the close of the latest Federal Open Market Committee interest rate meeting, with Fed Chair Jerome Powell speaking at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Fed is unlikely to raise rates today, but we should learn more about the potential for future rate hikes. If that wasn’t enough, we have three big reports coming right at 10 a.m. ET: ISM Manufacturing Index, Construction Spending and JOLTS. We won’t know much about long-term directional bias until probably the end of the week, but we should expect volatility to pick up. The bond market, meanwhile, started moving lower… I’ll cover all that and more in Wednesday’s “Premarket Must Watch” video!
