Plus, Blue Chips Are Hitting the 200-Day Line — Caution Ahead We’re seeing bad premarket action Tuesday, and it’s a little more than just random… I mentioned I liked what I was seeing Monday, [but was it just a dead cat bounce?]( Well, I’d keep my powder dry until the S&P 500 (SPY) takes out Monday’s high of $432.27, or the previous day’s high of $434.10… We have to take out those levels, and if we can’t even take out Monday’s high but we do take out the low… No soup! If we keep knocking on the door lower, eventually, it’s going to open. I need to see some proof that the market has passed by this announcement that the Federal Reserve is going to keep rates higher for longer… which isn’t even a surprise. We knew this. But the market doesn’t like this realization. So be very cautious. The 200-day line offers a lot of support. And if we can bounce from the 200 to the 100 — above 34,000 in the Dow — then when we’ll be in business. There’s another thing I don’t like at all, but it looks like it’s mostly done… I’ll cover all that and more in this morning’s Premarket Must Watch video!
