While it was a volatile three months, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq managed to end the quarter with a win, up 5.5% and 14.8%, respectively. The Dow ended the quarter down slightly. The market also got a boost Friday morning on the latest inflation data. The core Personal Consumption Expenditures index, which excludes energy and food costs, showed prices increased less than expected for the month of February, coming in at 0.3% versus the 0.4% forecast.
