[Volume is the key to watch for trading Tuesday]( ahead of the holiday… Monday’s rally was more broad-based than much of the news will lead you to believe… Financials (XLF) and Consumer Discretionary (XLY) also had big days, maybe the biggest day in six months for XLY. Retail (XRT), Homebuilders (XHB), the Dow (DIA), Midcaps (MDY)… just about everything rose, and we have had a day like that in quite some time, which is great to see. The number of stocks crossing above their 50-day moving averages has also risen from over 40% to more than 50%. We have several Fed speakers on deck to speak yesterday amid the new record highs for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq.
