You can make a difference in the life of a caregiver. You Can Change the Life of a Caregiver Dear {N

You can make a difference in the life of a caregiver. You Can Change the Life of a Caregiver [Give Today]( Dear {NAME}, We all know a caregiver, or may even be one ourselves. They are the unsung heroes who fill a crucial role, made even more challenging since the pandemic began. The reduced services and the loneliness brought on by the pandemic have been devastating to the many older adult caregivers in our community. That's why this Giving Tuesday, we have a goal to create 15 Road Scholar Caregiver Grants, which means we need to raise $15,000. By contributing, you can help a needy caregiver find rest and rejuvenation on a Road Scholar learning adventure in North America. Your donation will be life-changing for someone like Linda C., a retired librarian from Wisconsin, who has been caring for her mother since she had a stroke in 2015. This past September, thanks to a caregiver grant, Linda attended a Road Scholar learning adventure in Michigan. In the application for her grant, Linda wrote: "Caregiving is stressful and isolating even under the best conditions, but the past 18 months have been almost more than I could bear. I worried about my own health and who would take care of Mom if something happened to me. It was a mentally and physically exhausting time." Whether a gift of $25 or $250, [your support can make a difference]( to the older adult caregivers, like Linda, who need the respite, invigoration and friendship that only Road Scholar can provide. This Giving Tuesday, we hope we can count on you and help us reach our goal. Thank you for being such a valued member of the Road Scholar community.
