Road Scholar offers four unique options that could help you attend an on-site or online learning adventure. Thanks to our generous donors, not-for-profit Road Scholar is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through one of these awards: [Scholarships]( If you, or someone you know, is over 50 and without the financial means to participate in one of our learning adventures, Road Scholar Scholarships are awarded to lifelong learners who would benefit from one of our educational experiences. Applicants may apply for a scholarship toward the cost of any program that takes place in the United States or Canada and costs no more than $2,500. [Learn More →]( [Professional Educator’s Assistance and Recognition (PEAR) Scholarship]( Founded by two education administrators, Road Scholar is dedicated to offering financial assistance to older adults currently employed or retired from all areas of the education field with limited financial means. Individuals over the age of 50 who are employed by (or retired from) a school system or any private or public school, at any grade level, from early childhood to college and university and in any role, are eligible. This includes anyone who contributes to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment through their diverse roles, whether in direct teaching, support services, administrative duties, facilities, custodial staff and other essential workers. PEAR Scholarship amounts between $200 and $2,000 are awarded to individuals for a Road Scholar program in the United States or Canada. Road Scholar is committed to helping you, or a friend, experience the warm, welcoming nature of one of our learning adventures and provide a much-needed respite from the physical and emotional demands of caregiving.
