Tips to help protect your Ring account.
Our security team has identified websites on the internet engaging in tech support scams, and weâre helping you safeguard your account with these tips. Avoid account deletion or suspension scams.
Scammers may text, email, or call you stating that your account will be suspended or deleted. Do not click any links or provide personal information. [Phone Icon](#)
Never pay over the phone.
Only purchase on verified pages like Ring.âcom or Amazon.âcom. Ring associates will not ask you to state payment information over the phone. Plus, Ring doesnât charge you for tech support.

Be wary of false urgency.
Do not let scammers convince you that you must act now. Ring will attempt to charge your payment method on file multiple times before cancelling a Ring Protect plan â and we email you following each attempt. Watch out for phishing and voice scams.
Scammers may act as Ring Customer Support over the phoneâand online or over chat on a website that is not Ring.âcomârequesting your account password, bank account, or payment information. Never share this information. [Bell Icon](#)

Always use Ring.âcom or the Ring app for customer service, tech support, or account changes. Watch for unfamiliar email addresses, unsolicited calls, and fraudulent websites.
