To be a successful investor, you must know… To be a successful investor, you must know what you

To be a successful investor, you must know… To be a successful investor, you must know what you want. It’s not as simple as it sounds. In fact, most people know what they “don’t want” rather than what they “do want”. They know they don’t want to work for someone else. They know they don’t want to live paycheck to paycheck. They know they don’t want to spend another day in the Rat Race with little control over their future. However, when I ask them what they do want and how they plan to get it, I’m met with a blank stare or shoulder shrug. Successful investors on the other hand, know exactly what they want to accomplish and how they are going to get it. It’s not as hard as you might think to get this kind of clarity. There are several things you can do to be like successful investors. Consider… Instead of just knowing they don’t want to live paycheck to paycheck, a successful investor will know how much money they need per month to cover their current expenses. If you don’t already know this, start today and figure it out. A successful investor will go further and develop a detailed plan to generate the amount they need. For instance, they will determine how many investment properties they need to acquire to achieve their goal. They can typically show you spreadsheets that map out their anticipated cash flow on a monthly and yearly basis. This is also something can learn to do](.
