Straight from the test labs, these are our editors' top picks for the year... [View this email in your browser]( Hello, Reviewed readers! Today we're thrilled to share the Best of Year awards, a tribute to our top-rated, lab-tested items from 2020. It was a year like no other. A year in which the world saw dramatic changes in what and how we shopped. Entire product categories rose and fell. Out: travel goods. In: Home office, home improvement, home gyms and basically anything else home-centric. And through it all, the Reviewed team was there doggedly testing everything we could get our hands on. So far this year, we've tested over 1,050 products. When we couldn't do it in our labs (due to social distancing), we tested in our own kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and yards. In short, we did what you did: we made the best of it. Fortunately, so did a lot of the companies that make these products. The Reviewed Best of Year Awards represents the absolute best of what we've experienced in 2020. We've winnowed down hundreds of nominees to just 102 winners. You'll see some old favorites returning, as well as a lot of new faces. Keep scrolling for highlights from across eight categories and check out the [entire list here](. Home Appliances After testing dozens of refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and more, we can confidently say that these models are the best of the best. They prove that the right tools can make household tasks feel like less of a chore. Tech It's been a crazy year, and the tech world certainly isn't exempt from 2020's unprecedented challenges. Our expert reviewers have been hard at work as always to separate the serious gems from the plain-old wastes of space so you can get the most out of your precious dollars. Kitchen & Cooking Whether they wanted to or not, most everyone became a home cook this year. And our experts have been there all along, offering helpful advice and continuing to test the best products on the market. These are the tools deserving of a place in any kitchen. Smart Home Our writers lived with smart locks, WiFi bulbs, voice assistants, and connected appliances all year to find out exactly what it's like to interact with this stuff, and whether a "smart" product is more hassle than helpful. Laundry & Cleaning Cleaning has been top of mind for everyone this year. Luckily, we've been putting washing machines, dryers, and vacuums to the test for years in our labs. We know these products are up to the task of everyday use. They're the best of the best, and they'll help you keep your home shining like new. Parenting While great products can't do all of the heavy lifting, they can certainly help make some aspects of parenthood easier. That's why we've continued to test the most popular products on the market to determine which ones are the best for parents and kids, whether they're newborns or pre-teens. Pets Whether you've just gotten a pet or simply want to treat the one you've had for a while to some new gear, you'll find something on this list. Each item earned a gold star from our pet-owning testers—and we think you and your pet will love them, too. Health & Beauty Something you can count on, despite the chaos of this year, is that our expert reviewers and lab testers have continued to test best-selling, buzzed-about products to bring you recommendations you can trust.
