It’s sweatah weathah. [Model wearing brown cardigan; gold hoops; tall black boots] Photo by Sézane / Mejuri / Alohas / Reviewed I’m of the opinion that fall fashion is the best fashion. During the dog days of summer when I live in a tee and shorts, I long for the days of sweaters, boots, and layered looks that allow me to fully express my style. Now that we’re past September 1, I’m fully embracing it, even though it’s still above 80 degrees where I live in Alabama. It’s a mindset, reader. In this vein, I polled the Reviewed staff to see what we’re wearing this fall. We scoured our closets and our wishlists to make the autumn wardrobe of our dreams. My picks? Tall, black [Alohas boots]( classic [Mejuri hoops]( and [this Sézane sweater]( that’s lived in my cart since last October. Break out your flannels and blast “Harvest Moon,” folks: fall fashion is here. If you’re lacking in threads for the season, our staff has some ideas to add to your closet. When we’re thinking about fall fashion, we’re picturing sweaters, flannels, and cardigans galore. Our retail editor, Nusrat Sultana, is wearing [this cardigan from Cider]( all autumn long, and director of product Ben Garves is longing for [this Old Navy cardigan](. Jeaneen Russell, our gift guide editor, has a [matching set from Aerie]( on her list, while style editor Anthony Palliparambil and senior staff writer Madison Durham are both pining for rugby shirts: specifically, the shirts from [KOTN]( and [Cos](. But we’re not just longing for comfort—Jonathan Hillburg, electronics and gaming editor, is attending a wedding in style next month, donning [this forest green suit from J.Crew]( that’s great for autumn events. We’re also shopping for shoes—the best part of every outfit, obviously. Mary Janes are the shoe of the fall, so Sultana is eyeing [these from Steven Madden]( Durham wants [Dr. Marten’s Mary Janes](. Rachel Levin, our head of audience and marketing, has been rocking her [riding boots]( for years, and has no plans of stopping this year. Staff writer Ceara Perez-Murphy is embracing the Princess Diana look and adding [these chunky sneakers]( to her cart. To add a little something extra to your outfit, embrace a bag (like [this Baggu]( Durham is constantly carrying) or put on a hat (like [this beanie]( Perez-Murphy has her eye on.)
