Help families in Gaza and beyond Hi {NAME} – Our month-long Ramadan donation match is coming to an end soon. [Please, give right now while your donation can be matched to send 2x the essential supplies to Gaza and families in crisis around the world >>]( This Ramadan has been unlike any other I've ever observed. During my own iftars (break-fast meals in the evenings during Ramadan), I find myself thinking about the families who aren't able to consume a nutritious meal in the safety of their home. I think about the mother in Gaza who is hoping her child can come back from the brink of starvation, or the children who lost their father. There is an intensity of suffering in Gaza that I can't comprehend. These famine-like conditions are entirely man-made, and are leaving entire families on the brink of death. [Thanks to our special Ramadan match your gift will be doubled, to help twice as many families who are in urgent need right now >>]( It can be easy to feel lost in conflicts this overwhelming. How can you help from halfway across the world in situations you may never be able to fully comprehend? But for the mother who gets her sick child lifesaving medical care, your gift means everything. Right now IRC medical teams are in Gaza providing care to starving families, treating traumatic injuries from bombs and gunfire, and providing mental health care to help families cope with the trauma of war. On a personal note, thank you, {NAME}. It means so much to me that you're still reading, acting, and staying vocal. Thank you for still caring. ☪️ I hope you continue to receive the blessings of these last few days of Ramadan, Madiha The International Rescue Committee | [Rescue.org]( 122 East 42nd Street, New York, New York 10168-1289 USA To ensure future delivery of IRC e-mails, please add our reply address updates@rescue.org to your Address Book.
