[Explosive Motorcycle Blast Kills Two in Peshawar, Pakistan] [Explosive Motorcycle Blast Kills Two in Peshawar, Pakistan]( Explosion in Peshawar Kills 2, Injures 1 in Tragic Incident Peshawar, Pakistan - An explosion in Peshawar, Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left one injured on Sunday. The tragic incident occurred in Board Bazar, Nasir Bagh Road, as the victims were reportedly transferring explosives on a motorbike. Initially believed to be a suicide blast by police officials, Superintendent of Police Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi later confirmed that the explosion happened while the individuals were moving explosives from one location to another. The bomb disposal unit's report indicated that it was not a suicide blast but an accidental explosion during the transfer of explosives. The injured individual, who is in critical condition, is currently receiving medical treatment at Khyber Teaching Hospital. The deceased were also taken to the hospital, as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the blast. This incident has prompted Chief Minister KPK Ali Amin Gandapur to request a detailed report from the police. Board Bazar, a bustling area in Peshawar known for heavy traffic, was surprisingly less congested at the time of the explosion. Unfortunately, instances of blasts and terrorist activities are not uncommon in many parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Last year alone, Pakistani authorities recorded 1,050 terrorism-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 419 incidents in arranged districts and 631 in merged districts. As the community grapples with this recent tragedy, the authorities continue to investigate and address security concerns to ensure the safety of residents in the region.
