[Chad's Internal Security Agency Attacked Following Presidential Election Announcement] [Chad's Internal Security Agency Attacked Following Presidential Election Announcement]( Possible Domestic Dispute Ends in Tragic Shooting: Woman Fatally Shot in South Philadelphia Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - A woman was fatally shot and killed in what police suspect to be a domestic incident in South Philadelphia. The 31-year-old victim, who had been assaulted by a man a week prior to the shooting, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the 2300 block of South Marshall Street just before 7 p.m. According to authorities, the woman was walking with a man when they were approached by three suspects. One of the suspects grabbed her, another held the man at gunpoint, while the third remained on his bike as a lookout. The suspect holding the woman then fired multiple shots at her before all three suspects fled the scene. The woman was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Two suspects, 32-year-old Carey Jones and 35-year-old Sherman Carney, were later arrested after being seen on Ritner Street. Following a brief foot pursuit, both suspects were taken into custody, and police recovered a gun from each of them. Both Jones and Carney have been charged with murder and related offenses. Police indicated that the shooting may have been a result of a domestic situation, as the victim had been assaulted the prior week, requiring hospitalization and leaving her with facial bruises. A warrant has been issued for another individual believed to be involved in the deadly shooting. The investigation into the incident continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the tragic shooting. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation. The community is shaken by the violent incident, highlighting the impact of domestic violence and the importance of addressing such issues to prevent further tragedies.
