Investigators believe that the suspects left the area after visiting the man's house. It was also reported that the man's Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen but later recovered at his home. The man was taken to Caromont Regional Medical Center for treatment for a gunshot wound in his back. This incident comes just days after nearly 60 shots were fired into a home on Nixon Road, which intersects with Amberley Crossing Drive. Fortunately, no one was injured in that shooting.
