In case you missed it: Arrests Made in Connection to 6 Murders Found During a Wellness Check in California The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest of five suspects in connection with the discovery of six bodies in a desert community in California. The bodies were found last week after authorities responded to a wellness check. During a press conference, officials revealed that the suspects, identified as Toniel Baez-Duarte, Mateo Baez-Duarte, Jose Nicolas Hernandez Sarabia, Jose Gregorio Hernandez Sarabia, and Jose Manuel Burgos Parra, were taken into custody following the execution of multiple search warrants. All five suspects are being held without bail, and eight guns were recovered during the arrests. According to investigators, the victims had allegedly arranged to meet for a marijuana transaction, pointing to their involvement in criminal activity. The victims were found shot to death, and four of the bodies had been burned. At this point, only three of the victims have been identified by authorities: Baldemar Mondragon-Albarran, Franklin Noel Bonilla, and Kevin Dariel Bonilla.
