The Shreveport Police Department launched an investigation into the incident, which took place on May 1 in the 800 block of W 70th Street after receiving reports of a shooting. Prim was rushed to a local hospital in a private vehicle but sadly succumbed to his injuries after arrival. The coroner's office confirmed his identity. Authorities have identified Bryson Turner, 20, who drove Prim to the hospital, as a person of interest. Turner was taken into custody for obstruction of justice after reportedly being uncooperative with investigators. Additionally, detectives have named Marcus Brown, 28, and DeAndre Daniel, 28, as individuals wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting. The Shreveport Police Department has called on the public for assistance in locating Brown and Daniel. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the SPD at 318-673-7300 #3. The tragic loss of Prim has deeply affected the Woodlawn High School community, as friends, family, and classmates mourn the promising young student's untimely passing. Authorities continue to work diligently to bring those responsible for this senseless act of violence to justice and provide closure for Prim's loved ones.
