Jean Carlos Aponte, 40, is now behind bars as authorities investigate the deaths of his 38-year-old wife Sara Ashley Gama and 2-year-old son Ethan Aponte in their Plantation home. According to the arrest report, Aponte is accused of stabbing his son four times and his wife 28 times, with both victims displaying defensive wounds. The cause of Ethan's death was determined to be sharp force injury and drowning, while Sara's cause of death was attributed to sharp force injury.
