Hi {NAME} , It's hard to believe this year is almost over. With two year of operations and your help

Hi {NAME} , It's hard to believe this year is almost over. With two year of operations and your help, we've gotten a few steps closer to bringing startup investing into the mainstream. Thank you for supporting us, and being an active member on our platform. We wouldn't be here without members of our community like you, so as we enter the new year, we'd like to share some of the highlights we got to experience together. 💰 These are big deals We launched over 40 deals on our platform, with some raising more than $1 million. Among these deals are startups backed by noted VCs and Y Combinator, as well as some promising non-tech businesses that aim to do good and do well. We also dipped our toe into crypto with the first deal this time last year. Now, we have a [steady pipeline]( and [announced the tokenization of our platform](. Getting to work with amazing founders like Amber McDonald of [Indemnis]( energizes and keeps the Republic team going day after day. We hope you, too, had a chance to connect with some of them through the platform. If not, let's make it a new year resolution? 😃 👋 Howdy, partners Republic is nothing without the support of our partners, from AngelList (SF) to Humble Ventures (DC), from Binance (Malta) to East Chain (Kuwait). Every month, we've earned the trust of new partners on our journey to democratize startup financing and investing. Among the many collaborations we had this year with partners around the world, we launched Season 2 of the TV show [Meet the Drapers]( with Tim Draper and Sony Entertaintment, and partnered with Jason Calacanis (angel investor in Uber, Thumbtack, Wealthfront, and Robinhood) for [Launch University]( in SF and Launch Festival in Sydney. We also launched an investor education series called ["How to Hack Angel Investing"]( in partnership with AngelList, and published the [Republic Journal](. 📰 Not fake news Republic was featured in numerous publications and podcasts, including [Fortune]( [This Week in Startups]( [Bloomberg]( [The Wall Street Journal]( and [CNN]( We published a [groundbreaking report on the state of diversity]( in venture capital, and were featured in publications like [Forbes]( and [Entrepreneur]( for supporting diverse founding teams. 🙌 It's a team effort Our team quadrupled in size over just one year! Collectively, we speak over a dozen languages. Among us are coders and lawyers, Ivy Leaguers and angel investors, moms and dads, and a few repeat founders. We even managed to convince a surgeon and a French knight to join the team. 👩‍⚕️ 🤴‍ 🚀️ The diversity of our experiences and perspectives makes us more ready to tackle the many challenges ahead and more prepared to service our fast-growing Republic community. Of course, these milestones would not have been possible if it weren't for you and our partners, investors, founders, and advisers. We're so excited about the future of Republic, and eager to make 2019 a banner year. Again, thank you so much, and Happy New Year! — Ken, and the Republic Team [Holiday email attachment4] [Holiday email attachment3] [Holiday email attachment1] [Holiday email attachment2] Republic · 335 Madison Ave · New York, NY 10017 [Email preferences]( — [Unsubscribe from Republic Insider emails]( 🙋 Republic is growing.
