Dear {NAME}, This week, House Republicans finalized their committee appointments, and it's clearer than ever that the GOP has turned itself into a joke. Not only did they put Marjorie Taylor Greene — a known conspiracy theorist who denied multiple school shootings and advocated for political violence against Democrats — on the Homeland Security Committee, but they also put George Santos, a liar and a fraud, on the Small Business Committee. As the former Chair of the House Small Business Committee, I know how important that work is, and how unqualified Santos is to sit on it. The Small Business Committee makes decisions that impact millions of working families. Why do Republican leaders want to give oversight of anyone else's business to a man who lied about his experience, worked for a ponzi scheme, and committed fraud? [We need to take back the House in 2024, and to do that we need to get to work now. Are you with me?]( [DONATE]( Even New York Republicans agree that Santos has no place in Congress, but McCarthy's Republicans disagree. [So let's send a clear signal that we're ready to win back control of Congress.]( Thanks, Nydia --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by Committee to Re-Elect Nydia M.
