It's the latest in her pattern of down-playing the violence â and it's a slap in the face to everyone who risked, or gave, their life to keep us safe. It's also yet another sign that New York Republicans are getting increasingly radical. We saw it when Lee Zeldin won the nomination and ran on Trump's coattails, and we saw it again on Sunday when Marjorie Taylor Greene's blatant disregard for democracy was met with cheers.
