{NAME}, Last month, New Yorkers across the state voted by mail in the Primary Election. Now, with just under 100 days until the General Election in November, we still don't have a national vote-by-mail plan. No one should have to risk their health to exercise their right to vote. We need vote-by-mail to protect both our democracy and public health. And we're going to need to start now to create policies and reforms that will keep voting Americans safe. I've been working in Congress to extend vote-by-mail and early voting, and I'll continue to do so as we get closer to November. [Will you chip in to support my re-election so I can fight to ensure we can all safely vote by mail this November?]( Not allowing for national vote-by-mail during a dangerous pandemic is voter suppression, plain and simple. But the Trump Administration has launched an all-out attack on vote-by-mail and is threatening to withhold federal funding from states that are allowing voters to protect their health. We shouldn’t make people choose between their lives and their right to make their voices heard. I'm fighting to make sure states have the resources and systems to ensure that our elections can be conducted fairly, securely, and safely.
