With the media in a frenzy, spreading disinformation left and right, Cotton had to step in to clear things up-and he didn't stop there. He also took Vice President Kamala Harris to task for her disgraceful tweet attacking Trump and her ongoing failure to support the families of the 13 fallen service members who died because of the Biden-Harris administration's incompetence. During his appearance on "Meet the Press," [Cotton]( made it crystal clear that it was the families of those fallen heroes-not Trump-who wanted photos to remember the solemn occasion. And he didn't hold back when pointing out Harris's shocking indifference. As Cotton noted, Harris was just "four miles away" in Washington, a mere ten-minute drive from Arlington, yet she couldn't be bothered to show up and honor the sacrifice of those young men and women. Worse still, Harris has never spoken to these families or taken a meeting with them, despite their repeated requests. But what really set the stage for Cotton's takedown was when "Meet the Press" host Kristen Welker tried to interrupt, claiming that Biden and Harris had met with the families during the dignified transfer. This was a blatant falsehood. Harris wasn't there, and Biden's presence was hardly comforting-according to the families, he spent more time checking his watch and talking about his own son, Beau, than acknowledging their grief.
