Many volunteers were equipped with skills for impactful public testimony. - All On The Line Ohio trained volunteers on public testimony on September 21. - The Ohio Redistricting Commission met on September 20 and proposed maps that pack Democratic voters and do not proportionally represent Ohioans. Public hearings were hosted over the past week, during which most Ohioans were critical of the maps. - Early voting in Virginia began on September 22. - On September 26, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to block a process for a court to redraw Alabama’s congressional map after a court ruled that the legislature’s proposed remedy defied Supreme Court and lower court’s requirement to create a second Black opportunity Congressional District.
