Since I sent out my email announcing my exclusive new subscriber 50% discount for Mixing University,

Since I sent out my email announcing my exclusive new subscriber 50% discount for Mixing University, I’ve gotten a ton of questions about the course. Musicians from all over the world are fired up and ready to start getting radio-ready songs from their mixes… and they want to know more about the course. So today, I’m going to dive in and answer some of the burning questions you and your fellow home studio owners have sent in. Are you ready? Question 1: How difficult/complex is Mixing University? If it were an actual university course, Mixing University is mixing 101, 201, and a few bits of 301 combined! Now, this doesn’t mean that it’s going to be a difficult course to complete. In fact - I’ve designed the course to be easy to go through, while still giving you the skills and tactics you need to get the best mixes from your studio today. Some parts of the course will challenge you, whether it’s understanding the fundamentals of mixing (that no one explains), or more of the advanced tricks in the later modules… but none of it is impossible for the home studio owner to learn. Each module contains in-depth, step-by-step video walkthroughs on the various parts of mixing… and it’ll be almost like you’re in my home studio, watching over my shoulder as I break down mixing for you. Each module is also broken down into sections so you can jump straight to what you need. Having trouble understanding compression? Jump right to that in Module 3: EQ & Compression. Having trouble understanding how to mix rock vocals? Jump right to that in Module 4: Mixing Walkthroughs. All you’ve got to do is watch the videos, learn the lessons, open up your DAW and start mixing! Question 2: How is Mixing University structured again? Mixing University is divided up into 2 main sections: the fundamentals of mixing, and then mixing in action. Module 1 to 3 is all about the fundamentals. You’ll discover how to set up your home studio for mixing success, the best mindsets for mixing, and the bread and butter plugins such as EQ & compression. If you’re more on the beginner side, this part of the course will give you the framework and system to approach mixing so that you’re never confused by it ever again. And if you’re more on the advanced side, this part of the course will be a great refresher on the basics, while possibly revealing to you new tactics and strategies you might have never thought of before. Then, Module 4 and 5 is where the rubber meets the road. In module 4, you’ll see me mix 6 different songs in various genres ranging from pop, country, rock, metal… and every single step is inside. You’ll see how I mix the drums, bass, guitars, vocals, and my reasoning for each sonic decision I make. This is the part of the course where you’ll also be able to follow along and mix with me. You’ll be able to download all the stems to the songs inside this module, and apply your new-found mixing skills, along with my guidance, to start creating radio-ready mixes. And in Module 5, you’ll be given my arsenal of tested and proven mixing tricks to get your mixes to stand out from above the crowd. From getting powerful, arena rock vocals to thick, fuzzy bass tracks, it’s all inside this module. Question 3: Will Mixing University also teach me Mastering? As part of this exclusive new subscriber offer, yes! I'm including a free bonus mini-course on mastering, among others. In this bonus, you'll be taught my personal mastering system I use to turn a polished mix into a professional sounding track that's ready for commercial play. Question 4: I don’t have a lot of free time… How long does Mixing University take to complete? Now this really depends on what you want out of Mixing University. If you’d like to arm yourself with my personal mixing system and go through the entire course, it could take a couple weekends to complete. But if you’d like to just have a resource you can return to time and time again on mixing, and you’re busy with work or family, it could take a little longer to go through. But this course is completely self-paced… so there’s no need to complete this course in just a few days. You’ll have lifetime access to the entire course when you join, so there’s no rush. Question 5: What software or gear does Mixing University require? All you’ll need is… a computer with a DAW. What you’ll learn inside Mixing University can be applied to any DAW. Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reason, Studio One, Cubase, you name it… because Mixing University teaches you the nuts and bolts of mixing - any software will do. Question 6: What if I don’t have a home studio? What should I do then? Mixing University actually doesn’t require a home studio - a computer with a DAW would work just fine. That’s because you’ll be given the stems of 6 different songs to mix as part of Mixing University, so you can actually practice your mixing skills on those songs, and develop your mixing skills from doing that! However, I’m guessing you’ll probably want to start recording your own music to mix it into a radio-ready song after going through the course. So if you’re thinking about building a home studio along with joining Mixing University, [here’s how to build a home studio for less than $150.]( Question 7: How long will I have access to Mixing University? How about… forever? When you join Mixing University, you’ll get lifetime access to all modules and course materials. That means once you’re enrolled, you’ll be able to access all the videos, song stems, and bonuses forever. Question 8: What if I don’t like the course? Is there a guarantee? Absolutely. You’ll have a full 60 days to try out Mixing University and decide if it’s right for you. If you’re not satisfied with the improvements in your mixing skills after joining Mixing University, just email me within 60 days and I’ll refund you your entire investment, no questions asked. So if you’re busy now, you can pick up Mixing University when it goes live, and you’ve got 2 months to go through the course. You can join now, and come back in a month’s time when you’re less busy, and if you’re not happy with your decision? Just email me and you’ll get a refund. How sweet is that? And most importantly... Question 9: Is there any reason why I should sign up for Mixing University now and not a few months from now? As of this special offer for Mixing University, I've put together a sweet package of both the course and a couple other bonuses that are going to augment and accelerate the results you'll get from Mixing University alone. And because you’re a new subscriber to Recording Revolution, come tomorrow, I’ll be giving you a sweet 50% discount on Mixing University. However, this special will only last for 3 days - but while it lasts, you’ll be able to join for just $147! And combined with my 60-day money back guarantee, it's just a no-brainer to pick up Mixing University at half price off! Question 10: Can I get a sneak peek of what’s inside Mixing University? Yes! While I’ve shared with you more advanced videos from inside Mixing University over the past few days, I’d like to show you what I teach in the beginner modules. [Click here to see me break down EQ & Compression - the workhorses of mixing.]( Master these 2 plugins, and getting a great mix becomes simple and easy :) Okay, so that answers most of the questions I’ve gotten… So be sure to check your inbox tomorrow, and get ready to join me in mixing Radio-Ready Songs!
