Happy January! Surfacing from a humid Sydney summer-haze to pop in briefly with some suggestions for healthy dinners - for those of you still gripping onto New Years' Resolutions. :) Yes, you guessed it, that includes me. You know I'll break. But that's no reason to not do it while my willpower lasts!! ~ Nagi & Dozer 🐶 --------------------------------------------------------------- [14 favourite low-calories dinners]( (500 calories and less) I think some of these recipes will surprise you - anything but dull, spanning cuisines from all over the world! [Get the list]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Life of Dozer To all the wonderful people who wrote in with suggestions and advice regarding aging dogs and slippery wooden floors - THANK YOU! As suspected, the non-slip paw pads are great in theory but not the best from a practical perspective. They work, but they just fall off too frequently. They basically need replacing every day, and certainly after every beach visit, or if it's raining. I think it would be ideal for less active dogs who do not leave the house much. But Dozer is still quite active (as you will see in the Life of Dozer in today's post) so it's not very practical. Ah - some rogue paw pads. Littered all over the house and yard for the week or so I was using them! And as other readers advised, his hairy paws with long claws are part of the slipping problem. However, trimming Dozer's nails just isn't viable - he HATES it, and I've tried all the tricks and treats suggested by the vet to get him to co operate but he doesn't, he just runs away. And I must tell you, I have never, ever drawn blood cutting his nails! I have never given him a reason to be so distrustful or fearful. Where's the faith Dozer?? - Nagi x [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | PO Box 226, Gladesville, NSW 1675
