[Subscribe now.]( Everyone loves a yummy dessert, and this Haupia Pie is simply amazing. It’s a traditional Hawaiian coconut cream pie with a Macadamia nut crust! Make the crust first, by pulsing the Macadamia nuts in a food processor until they are finely ground, then add your cold butter and salt, then the flour and water. Roll it out and pre-bake it in a pie dish, and you’re ready to start on the filling. In a saucepan, combine the coconut cream and whole milk, then add the sugar. While the sugar is dissolving, mix your corn starch and water and stir it into the coconut and milk mixture. Heat the mixture. Once it thickens, pour a little over the chocolate chips to melt them and make a ganache. Pour the ganache into your pie crust, spreading it evenly, then add the coconut cream mixture. You’re almost done! Chill the pie in the fridge. When it’s ready, top with whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes. That’s all there is to it!
