Republicans Threaten Special Counsel, Impeachment of AG Garland

Ted Cruz is calling for a special counsel to investigate Garland for obstruction of justice and perjury, stating, “The evidence that Merrick Garland personally committed multiple felonies is growing greater.” And House Republicans are moving toward an impeachment inquiry of Garland due to conflicting information between what was allegedly said privately and publicly between Garland and U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was investigating the president’s son.
