[Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen, MDs] Kids Will Mimic Your Health Habits By Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen, MDs Oscar Wilde said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Not always. Although it may seem cute when your little ones mimic your behavior, there's nothing cute about the outcome if they're imitating your bad habits — and they're just as likely to do that as to adopt your good ones. When researchers followed 400 children and their moms for five years, they discovered that moms' dietary and TV-watching habits directly impacted not only their own weight and health, but their young children's weight and activity level, too. Special: [You’re a Burden on Your Family]( The study, published in the journal Obesity, found that mothers who watch 130 minutes or more of TV daily are more than twice as likely to have kids who are overweight or obese than mothers who are less sedentary and whose kids, coincidently, spend more time outdoors. They also found that active moms tend to eat a diet with a good amount of fruits and veggies, instead of fatty meats and highly processed foods. In turn, they have young kids who eat healthful foods and are able to maintain a normal weight. So parents, embrace a more active lifestyle, with less sitting around and a healthier diet. Do it for yourself and your children. Kids who are sedentary and obese are on a glide path to premature chronic diseases. Don't make them pay a steep price down the road for your self-neglect. --------------------------------------------------------------- Special Message --------------------------------------------------------------- Reader, They don’t say it outright. But they're thinking about it. Here’s what’s going on in their head: “Man...Mom/Dad is such a pain to be around. It’s like his/her whole world revolves around their diabetes.” Is that what you really want? For your own children to not even spend time with you? [(fix this problem).]( The fact is, with all your test strips, dietary restrictions, your foot massage routine and your pills...you can’t HELP but be a burden on your family. If so... I ask you a simple question. What if you could turn that all around? What if you could take all the pain out of diabetes, and maybe...just maybe...not have to pin prick your thumb anymore. That thumb has taken enough abuse. And what’s better... There’s no more test strips. No more shots. No more foot massages. And no more dietary restrictions. Yes. Dunkin Donuts is now back on your menu. A renegade researcher has made some discoveries that are sending hockwaves through the medical community. He found a way to reverse and eradicate diabetes no matter what your age, o matter what your weight, and no matter how long you’ve had it. Wouldn’t it be worth 2 minutes of time to hear what he has to say? I think so. I think you’re about to have a whole new life. And I can’t wait to hear your testimonial. You can do this, To YOUR Health, Paul Sanders P.S. Your family will thank you. Your family will hug you. They may even throw you a big “beat diabetes” party.
