Republicans to Hold AG Garland in Contempt Over Biden Recordings

[Reagan Reports] The House Judiciary Committee is aiming to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for refusing to provide audio recordings of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur, who investigated his handling of classified documents, [the Washington Examiner reports.]( While Hur determined Biden did mishandle classified documents while vice president, he declined to prosecute him because he appeared to be a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Audio of the interview could shed additional light on the president’s mental fitness or other aspects not captured through a written transcript.
