It hurts workers, consumers and our communities. Hi {NAME}, Raquel here. Earlier this week, I attended a town hall regarding the Fry’s-Albertsons merger to show solidarity with our labor family and represent our community in AZ-03. If this merger goes through, it could threaten the good jobs and benefits of our essential workers, and endanger food access for the most vulnerable in our community. [Will you join me and tell government regulators to protect our workers and our community by rejecting this merger?]( Many of us left with more questions than answers but let me be clear: I’m proud to be in solidarity with our labor siblings and community in opposition to this merger. More than 1,000 people turned out to make it clear: our community doesn’t support this merger. And we’ve historically seen when corporate mergers like this happen, companies become too big to care for their employees, consumers and the communities they serve. Zip codes can determine access to groceries and pharmacies. Regulators should take seriously the threats to our communities' health and well-being. I’m committed to ensuring AZ-03 receives the full protections and resources that the federal government has to offer. Winning elections is important, but our movement is about more than that. Our movement is about fighting for our community and protecting the rights and benefits we’ve fought for. [Will you join me in solidarity and say ‘no’ to this merger?]( Thank you, Raquel [SIGN ON]( Raquel Terán is running to represent Arizona's 3rd Congressional District as the first Latina congresswoman from Arizona. For nearly 20 years, she's been fighting for higher wages for workers, healthcare for all, and better schools for our children. She's helped build broad and diverse coalitions that have beaten Republicans like Donald Trump, Joe Arpaio, and Kari Lake. [Now she's ready to take the fight to Congress, but we'll need your support to win. Chip in today!]( Terán for Congress PO Box 1041 Glendale, AZ 85311 United States Paid for by Terán for Congress If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please [unsubscribe](.
