Because of your past support for Democratic candidates, we thought you would be interested in hearing about our campaign to send Democrat Raquel Terà n to Washington to fight for progressive values and take on the Republican bullies who want to take us backward. If you do not wish to join our historic movement to elect Arizona’s first Latina to Congress, please [unsubscribe](. Hola {NAME}, I’m Democrat Raquel Terán and in April, I announced that I was running to represent Arizona’s 3rd District in Congress – and what a journey it has been since then. I started working in our community nearly two decades ago as an organizer for Mi Familia Vota, working to get border communities and Latinos out to vote. Later on I served in both the Arizona State House and the State Senate fighting for immigrants, women and working families. My belief in democracy, equality, fairness and family is as strong, if not stronger, now then it was when I first started. Now I’m ready to take the fight to the Congress. Or should I say WE are going to take the fight to Congress. Because this campaign isn’t about me. This campaign, like the ones we’ve run before, will be about centering our communities and building as big a coalition as we can. It’s how we’ve won before, and how I know we will do it again in 2024. We’ve already got some amazing working class champions on our team like Senator Mark Kelly, LUCHA, the Working Families Party and former Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick. With a challenging primary ahead of us and a long way before the general election, our grassroots campaign is in it for the long haul – and we’ll need you onboard. [So, {NAME}, can you join our grassroots campaign? For nearly 20 years, she's been fighting for higher wages for workers, healthcare for all, and better schools for our children. She's helped build broad and diverse coalitions that have beaten Republicans like Donald Trump, Joe Arpaio, and Kari Lake. [Now she's ready to take the fight to Congress, but we'll need your support to win.
