I think we just found a bottom…                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 November 03, 2023 | [Read Online]( [Follow me on X]( (new!) I don’t know if you watch small-cap stocks as closely as I do, but it has felt like we have been in a drought for the last few months. The problem is that the small-cap index, the “IWM,” has been in a nasty downtrend.  It’s a very curious thing.  I don’t fault the small stocks in the index so much for the drop, but rather the aggressive stance by the Fed to keep hiking rates. Higher rates are very bad for small companies, and we have seen the IWM suffer because of it. But… As I have been banging the table on during all of my live sessions lately ([you can join me here]( I think we have finally found a bottom! Just look at the staggering reversal for IWM in the last week. It is simply amazing to see! And sure enough, we are starting to see tons of stocks light up the daily gainers again. This looks like Christmas to me! 🎄 Here is a snapshot of stocks just from today to give you an idea (you can see these movers all day in [Jason Bond’s live trading room]( There have been days lately where I have only seen five stocks (or less) with double-digit moves. As I said, it has been very “dry” out there lately as we have had to deal with oppressive interest rates. The game-changer happened a few days ago when the Fed signaled to us that they were not likely to hike rates any further from here. While they didn’t say they were going to lower rates anytime soon, the market has clearly interpreted this as the bottom for the rate cycle and is jumping ahead of it. Just this week, we have just witnessed one of the largest drops in interest rates that we have ever – ever! It has been the equivalent of nearly two rate cuts in just a week’s time. Amazing! That has fueled a big rally for the IWM index, and we are starting to see a lot of big moves happen with small stocks again. If you are like me, this is the kind of trading environment I have been waiting for.  I plan to jump back in and start making aggressive moves once again. I really do think that it is time to strike while the fire is hot. I’ll be updating you on my plans and let you know when I make any specific trades. If you want to join Jeff Williams and I for live trading during the day, you can join us in the [Market Master’s Room](. You’ll find Jason Bond trading nearly nonstop during the day in the “[JBP Room]( If you are not actively working with us in these rooms, NOW is the time to make sure you are set up and ready to go!
