After the big run in stocks to start the year things are starting to look a little bit shaky for the overall market. Inflation and interest rate fears are back weighing on investors who are starting to take some off the table with bond yields increasing. While most traders I talk to are very nervous and expecting a major pullback, I remain bullish overall. It’s not just a “feeling” that I rely on each day for trading, it is a solid understanding of the levels and trends in the market each day. Look for yourself. How many “bearish” sectors and stocks do you see out there right now? With all of the worry you hear on TV all the time, I simply don’t see it when I look at the market. As I’ve learned, “the trend is your friend”, I am going to remain bullish on the market until proven otherwise. Having said that, there are still plenty of opportunities if you're a stock picker, and that's what I specialize in. Right now, gold is setting up for a move higher, it's ticking all my boxes. Yep, boring old gold. Sometimes, it can be an amazing trade and I think we’re setting up for a nice move again soon. I’ve been waiting for a few months for the trade setup to form. After a significant pullback in February, as the market went risk-on, gold is starting to perk again as speculative stocks retreat. When I comes to trading gold, I usually trade “NUGT”, which is a leveraged ETF of gold mining stocks. It can really make some big moves! Lately, I think this is a great spot to get in, as I think gold can climb much higher from here, and the technicals have finally aligned for another possible move higher. Check out this sexy looking chart.  Do you think we’re going to see continued follow through or make a new low? I think we are going higher. Gold is a hedge against inflation: Inflation is on the rise, and it is not clear when it might subside. When inflation is high, the value of paper currency decreases, making it more difficult to purchase goods and services. However, gold is a tangible asset , making it an excellent hedge against inflation. Now, I've told you that I'm bullish gold. What I didn't tell you is how I want to trade it. That's reserved for my thousands and thousands of subscribers, who get my highest-conviction trade idea every Monday morning in Bullseye Trades (psst… you too can get these great ideas each week before the market opens for less than $50 by [using this link]() Here is an example of what you can expect in your inbox from a recent trade idea in MRNA (which I was betting against): You'll get my reasoning: There is one stock that has been very strong, but it too has been “running out of gas” lately. There was also a viral video this weekend that made their main competitor (PFE) look very bad. I think that’s going to spill over to the sector, and it’s very hard to imagine that we see a continued rally anytime soon. The stock I am looking to bet against this week is Moderna (MRNA). MRNA has already slashed its outlook for 2023 sales (when is the last time you heard about anyone getting a Covid shot?). The Company is really dependent on future vaccines, and importantly the trust of the public. I think the Pfizer video this weekend is going to further shake the confidence of people everywhere, and probably put a lid on the price of the stock for a while. I am looking to bet against MRNA this week by buying puts on it (this is a bet the stock will go lower if you are new to trading options). 👉 After you join, pay attention to the exact options contract I'm looking to trade. It will look like this: My Trade Details: - MRNA Feb 17 2023 180 Put near $5 - Stop: Close above $197 - Target 1: $177 - Target 2: $165 🔼 See that? 🔼 It’s my complete game plan for the trade laid out very simply. You can even ask me questions about it during the live training session on Mondays @ 11am EST (make sure you join me this week!) 📺 After this, MRNA did make a big drop lower and those puts I suggested? Well they made a 170% move higher in just a few days! Now, not all my trades work this well, (I urge you to check out these [trades from the last few months here](, I'm proud of them!) but I can help you think like a pro and help you develop your own trading plans and playbook. Now, my [next trade Idea]( is being sent out on Monday morning as usual, you can set your watch to it and I don't want you to miss out. I've already got my target in the crosshairs, and I can't wait to break it down for you. I have made this as ridiculously easy as possible.
