My Trade For The Fed Rate Hike is.....

Good morning undefined, So it’s Sunday and everyone wants to know who’s going to the Super Bowl, right??? Honestly, with my Bills and Cowboys out I could care less but I will tell you my favorite still in shortly. Instead of talking about football right now, I’d like to talk to you about my favorite trade idea going into this coming week. We have Fed Powell lined up for Wednesday and my guess here is a quarter point rate hike. I mean why not? Some signs are showing that inflation is slowing down and the labor market appears to be holding up. On top of that, most major earnings did “ok” which is a win if you ask me. So how will I trade this data-driven market this week? I’ll be looking to buy SPY calls early in the week with a double-digit sell target going into Tuesday close. I then think we could see a big pop on Wednesday followed by a bit of a late week pull back on the ol’ “Buy the rumor, sell the news” concept before rolling into Friday.
